Pre-Selection

To avoid the rush during the busy holiday season many families are pre-selecting their Christmas tree during the first three weekends in November. The farm will be open weekends beginning November 5th from 9:00 am to 4:00 p.m. for pre-selection. When you find your tree of choice simply decorate the tree with brightly colored ribbon ties (ribbon is provided). Once you have decorated your tree, you prepay for the tree at our Gift Stop.

You can either come out to the farm during our cutting season and cut your tree, or you can call the farm 24 hours in advance and have your tree cut and waiting for you when you arrive. ($5.00 cutting charge)

How to Choose and Cut Your Christmas Tree

If you have never been to a choose and cut farm, please follow these easy steps:

1. Dress for the weather: hats, gloves, warm coats, umbrellas. The farm is on level ground so you won't have difficulty climbing up hills, but wear comfortable shoes or boots to walk through the fields.

2. Our greeter will meet you when you arrive and direct you to fields for cutting and will lend you a saw. No chain saws are allowed.

3. Weather permitting, a wagon will give you a ride out to the fields and wagons will carry your tree back to the sales building.

4. Farm staff are posted throughout the farm to assist you. If you need help with cutting or carrying your tree, please let our greeter know.

5. All trees for sale have been tagged identifying tree type and price. Once you have decided on your perfect Christmas tree, cut your tree as close to the ground as possible.

6. Animals are an important part of a family, however, for the safety of our customers we ask that all animals be left in your vehicle.
